Our role in the project is to assist the client and consultant to produce BIM clash and coordination report. The reports were specially designed in more graphical version as majority of consultant do not have respective software. Along the project, we resolved the exposed structure issues, ceiling height, rainwater downpipe design, and many other issues before the issuance of RFI(s) from contractor.

We worked together with the consultants to resolve the clashes that are not visible from 2D, and amended the changes as per consultants' advice. We then also reissued coordinated models that agreed by all consultants during meeting in 2D for records and changes.

Aside from being excited to be able to join this mega project, we have fulfilled our role as the contractor's BIM lead for team. Working together with the consultants, and sub-conctractors, we have set up federated model and guideline that is only suitable for the project. We not only completed coordination for many floors, we also produce the respective construction drawings which are necessary for on-site installation.

Along the way, our team has also prepared material take off for financial projection and as built. This have provided higher accuracy on the material purchase and certification. We have also produced construction sequencing simulation that helping to project actual and projected work done on site, making it easier for client and consultants to understand the actual progress on site.

Our client has the desired to introduce BIM to his house construction, to create better illustration on the coordination between different disciplines. By producing 3D models of different disciplines, we noticed some of the clashes that is not possible to view from 2D. The 3D clashes were highlighted and resolved in meeting, which then reflected in consultants' drawings.

Aside from being the main BIM consultant of the project, we also assisting the consultant to prepare their BIM model for projects with BIM requirement. In Setia City Mall phase 2, we assisted the project consultant to prepare the model during time where it has too many changes to update at one go. We were as project consultant's back-up BIM consultant that is helping them over the time they need.
